Connor Broadley fielded its biggest team to date for the annual Standard Chartered ‘Great City Race’. Coincidentally it was also the race’s biggest ever field of runners with over 5,500 people competing from a total of 350 companies across London’s banking, legal and financial service sectors.
Money raised goes to The Standard Chartered Foundation, a global initiative to tackle inequality and promote economic inclusion with programmes for disadvantaged young people, over half of whom are women.
First home for the Connor Broadley pack was company secretary John Gwatkin with an impressive time of 21.51. Congratulations to John, the rest of the team and a special mention to Julie Alu for guarding bags and valuables while our runners navigated the 5K course.
