Dan McKissock, one of our chartered financial planners and keen cyclist recently took on the 2026 Möntare London to Paris Cycle Challenge for professional services. Joining over 50 other professionals from UK legal, accounting and investment firms, Dan tackled the 269-mile route across three days.
After making their separate ways down from London, the team came together for an early start at the historic Penshurst Place in Kent. Day one took in Dover to Calais, day two finished in Amiens, with the final push into Paris coming on day three and a finish under the Eiffel Tower.
Dan made it safely back into the office claiming to have enjoyed the experience despite strong head winds and mixed weather. It is also provided the very first outing for a Connor Broadley branded cycling top, which was bound to have received admiring glances enroute from the locals.
The biggest teams were fielded by event sponsors Saffery, Keystone Law and Mewburn Ellis, but representatives from a total of 14 companies took part.
The collective team effort was on behalf of Action Medical Research, the leading UK-wide charity dedicated to funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people. Latest estimates expect that around £160,000 has been raised. Congratulations to Dan and all the other riders for their contribution to such a good cause.
