Padelling in Shoreditch

Last week Keryn Hurlock and Xavier Bochereau from our Investment Management team paired up to take on all-comers in a padel tournament hosted by DWS Group.

It was a round-robin tournament held at the Powerleague centre in Shoreditch with Keryn and Xavier taking on portfolio managers, investment specialists and financial advisors from across the industry.

Following a quick warm up and coaching session for those who needed one (our intrepid pair included), the 12 teams battled it out for victory. Sadly the boys didn’t make it out of the group stage, but they had fun, and as a very first padel outing against teams with far more experience they acquitted themselves well.

After the tournament’s success, DWS are now looking to host a variety of other sporting events in future called the ‘X-Games’, watch this space to see if Keryn and Xavier can exact their revenge.
